
Misconceptions
There are sometimes misconceptions by the public that meditation is connected to religion. While meditation was originally invented in a spiritual context “for most techniques – especially When Mindfulness Meets the Classroomas practiced in the West – there is nothing essentially religious about them.” (source: http://liveanddare.com/myths-about-meditation/). I just wanted to make sure to clarify that our focus will merely by on body and mind awareness as we learn together as a group of 20 diverse minds.
