Animal Projects (Part 2)

Here are the rest of our animal projects! Students have been working so hard on these since October. What a challenging and exciting unit of study it was!

Below the pictures, each student shared what the most interesting thing they learned or their favourite fact about their animal.

Wow - what amazing researchers we have in room 113 and it's a good thing because we need students like these who have such compassion and empathy for animals. We discovered that now more than ever, animals need our advocacy and help to protect their habitats and the environment we share with them. We want these animals to be able to exist in the word for many years to come.

Weekly Words and November Partner Appreciations

Weekly words for November 2-5 (Quiz will be on Monday, Dec. 9th)

December News will be posted by tomorrow evening ☺

At the end of each month, the students switch table spots and partners. This way, by the end of the year, students will have had the opportunity to work closely with 10 of their peers. At the end of each month, we take a moment to reflect on the month of working together and each student is given the opportunity to share with their partner something that they appreciated about working with them.
